We are recruiting a Senior Support Worker for a new service in Sandwich supporting adults diagnosed with Autism, Mental Health, and learning disabilities to transition into the community.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will make a real difference in people’s lives. Passionate about supporting others? You will enjoy this role's scope, which includes line management duties alongside supporting individuals, while enhancing your own career through experience and training.
The Senior Support Worker supports the management team in supervising Support Workers, ensuring new staff are properly inducted and competent, and inspiring the team to deliver high-quality support and outcomes.
You will take responsibility as the senior on duty, modeling good practice to ensure a high standard of service.
This role is hands-on! You will support individuals with daily activities such as mental health appointments, community participation, home and tenancy management, medical needs, and daily living tasks.
You will have Support Worker experience in a Learning Disability, Autism, or Mental Health setting.
