Qualifications

  • Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health backgrounds.
  • At least 1 year working as a senior support worker.
  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends is essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (desirable, not essential).

  • Follow person-centred care plans, ensuring ongoing review and updates in collaboration with management.
  • Administer and accurately record medication in line with procedures.
  • Ensure service users access the community, attend medical appointments, and develop independence.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene and personal care.
  • Accurately complete daily records, incident reports, and other key documentation.
  • Support individuals in managing their personal finances and maintaining relationships with family and professionals.
  • Follow company safeguarding policies, escalating concerns appropriately.

Job Title: Senior Support Worker – Supported Living
Location: Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester
Salary: £32,630 per annum (incl sleep allowance)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
