Overview

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision's, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You'll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

Responsibilities

Typical Shifts are: Monday to Sunday - 7:30am - 3:00pm, 2:30pm - 10:00pm and 9:45pm - 7:45am or 10:00pm - 8:00am. Duties include:

  • Allocate shifts
  • Book in training
  • Induct new colleagues
  • Support with supervision
  • Order medication
  • Support people we work with to manage their finances
Qualifications

We are interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker
  • A Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience working with individuals with an acquired brain injury
