Job description

Are you passionate about delivering high quality, engaging, respectful, and dignified care and support to older people? If so, we are looking to recruit a passionate Senior Support Worker to join our existing management team in Carlisle.

Role Overview
  1. Support the management of a small 27-bed residential care home in Carlisle.
  2. Provide 24-hour support for older adults requiring additional care and support, without the need for specialist nursing care.
  3. Care for residents as if they are your own family, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs.
  4. Assist residents with personal care activities, including hygiene, dressing, meals, and engaging in activities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience leading a team and relevant care qualifications (Level 2 or above) are essential.
  • Previous experience in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to work flexibly including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Additional Information

Full training is provided, along with opportunities to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. The location is accessible via a main public transport route.
