The Learning Centre
The learning centre supports adults with learning disabilities across the week. The centre also provides outreach support to adults with learning disabilities in the community. The team consists of a deputy manager, senior support workers, and support workers. They also provide outreach support to people like David. David * has a his own job but appreciates the support we provide with some of his domestic arrangements. Once a week we join him for a batch cooking session. Through this activity he learns new skills and doesn't have to worry about what he is going to eat on a daily basis. Learning to cook for himself makes his money go further, cutting out expensive takeaways, and he is also eating a more healthy diet.
We also have opportunities at our learning centre in Ampthill. Apply to this advert and we can discuss which location suits you best.
