Job Opportunity: Senior Support Engineer

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and talented Senior Support Engineer to join our IT department.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimise the School’s network infrastructure.
• Provide cover for the Head of IT.
• Lead specific technical projects as determined by the Head of IT and Leadership Team.
• Manage Microsoft AD, Extreme network, and Extreme Cloud IQ Wi-Fi environments to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background with excellent hands-on skills.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.

Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent role, working all year round.
• Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus 8:00am to 12:00pm one Saturday per month during term-time, on-call duties as per rota, and one Sunday per year for Summer School.
