Job Description

Senior Supply Planner

The Senior Supply Planner has the aim to deliver excellent professional services within the supply chain department making sure that Essential Pharma products are always readily available for patients without any stock out situation. You will be serving as liaison between commercial, regulatory, manufacturing, and other key stakeholders. What You Will Do

  • Plan and coordinate the replenishments of Finished Goods (FGs) to Distribution Centre and 3rd party partners- contact point for Distributors
  • Monitor available stock on hand in order to reduce write-offs due to expiration and mitigate destructions by initiating re-distribution activities where possible
  • Manage supplier relationship with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) to maintain strong bonds
  • Organise and monitor shipments including customs forms, collaborating with QP for release etc.
  • Conduct multi-site/multi-market and multi-level planning to ensure supply from CMOs meet market demand
  • Monitor market forecast and interrogate deviations regarding forecasts / sales
  • Collaborate with Commercial to define annual quantities and deliver rolling forecast to suppliers
  • Efficiently organise and monitor shipments, ensuring the timely and secure movement of products throughout the supply chain
  • Collect and crosscheck that all Quality documents allow for Goods Receipt and post Good Receipts in SAP for purchased items (batch number, expiry date and manufacturing date)
  • Ensure timely execution of all supply chain activities in SAP, maintaining accuracy and compliance throughout the process
  • Execute and oversee the jobs and tasks as reflected in line with Good Distribution Practices (GDP)
  • Take responsibility for end-to-end workflows and processes related to Logistics Operations, ensuring strict adherence to GDP, the Essential Pharma Quality Management System (QMS), and the Essential Pharma Compliance Program.
  • Raise change controls and deviations and ensuring procedures including GDP procedures are followed
  • Support with S&OP build and delivery
  • Support development and deployment of performance scorecards for CMOs

Experience

  • Significant experience in a pharmaceutical industry and / or in FMCG
  • Experience of forecasts, planning and inventory management
  • Proven experience of having an analytical / numerical /data driven approach
  • Proven experience in supplier relationship management and negotiation.
  • A commitment to quality, accuracy and continuous improvement
  • Evidence of effective communication and stakeholder management
  • GDP and GMP proficiency
