Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Project Manager for a hybrid role in Warwick. You will define and deliver supplier source change projects to support new product development and continuity programmes.

The position requires a manufacturing/aerospace background and 5+ years of multidisciplinary project experience, plus PMP/PRINCE2/APMP certification. It is an outside IR35 contract with an initial 6 months, extending 2–3 years. Start ASAP 30 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline required.
• 5+ years' experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Recognised project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, APMP or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules and resources.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain and supplier transition projects.
• Conduct cost-benefit and business impact analyses.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across procurement, manufacturing, engineering and logistics.
• Manage supplier sourcing and business continuity initiatives.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, with no disruption.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior stakeholders.
• Manage third-party vendors and external partners.
• Drive continuous improvement within supply chain project delivery.

Rate: From 55 to 65 per hour (depends on experience)

Contract Length: Initial 6 months, expected project duration 2-3 years with extensions every 6 months

We are currently recruiting for Senior Supply Chain Project Managers to join a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation on a long-term programme supporting strategic supply chain transformation initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Supply Chain Project Managers with a strong manufacturing, procurement, or aerospace background to lead complex supplier source change projects.

The Role

As a Senior Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining and delivering supplier source change projects that support new product development, strategic business initiatives, and supply chain continuity programmes.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Supply Chain Project Manager will have Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Recognised Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, APMP, or equivalent)
• 5+ year's experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations
• Experience within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or industrial environments
• Proven experience managing supplier sourcing or supplier transition projects
• Experience using project management tools and methodologies
