Job summary

L&Q, a leading UK housing association, seeks a Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Business Partner to shape procurement governance and strategy. You will lead complex projects, partner with senior stakeholders, and drive commercial solutions that deliver value and align with strategic goals.

The role includes governance, assurance, and developing supply chain standards. You will oversee a small team, embed best practices across procurement lifecycle, and support continuous improvement with

Qualifications

• Experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with training, tools and templates.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain policy, compliance, contracts, and audits.
• Knowledge of procurement law and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of customer focus and operational excellence across the supply chain.
• Lead a team of Supply Chain officers, supporting them to be the very best they can be.
• Embed best-practice processes, systems and governance and drive continuous improvement in how the framework is adopted.
• Work in partnership with internal teams to ensure colleagues have access to relevant training, tools and templates to perform activities in line with the supply chain framework and policy
• Develop and drive the Supply Chain plan, including category management and long-term buying planning.
