Role: Senior Supply Chain Planner

Location: Greater London (Hybrid – Office-based once every 2 weeks)

Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term

Industry: Pharmaceutical

Are you an experienced Supply Chain Planner looking to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic, global mid-sized pharmaceutical company?

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small but highly effective supply chain team, responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain. You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless movement of products across logistics, distribution, and Finished Kit Units (FKUs) while working closely with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely and efficient supply of products.
  • Manage relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), ensuring supply plans are aligned and executed effectively.
  • Develop and maintain demand and supply forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
  • Work closely with logistics and distribution teams to ensure smooth product flow and inventory management.
  • Optimise supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, including regulatory, quality, and commercial teams.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve planning strategies.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including logistics, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Experience liaising with CMOs.
  • Experience using Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Proficiency in supply chain planning systems and tools.
  • Ability to work independently within a small, highly collaborative team.
