Job summary

Zebra Technologies in Bourne End, UK, is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to orchestrate end-to-end inbound planning and logistics with global suppliers. The role is hybrid: three days in the Bourne End office and two days remote, supporting a multinational planning team.

You will own product portfolio performance, drive inventory health, improve forecast accuracy, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and other regions to resolve constraints and enable smooth product

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in demand planning or supply planning.
• High degree of ownership with attention to detail and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Experience managing external suppliers and/or logistics providers.
• Excellent analytical skills and a passion for data; advanced Excel required.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming supply by tracking, prioritising, expediting shipments, and negotiating delivery schedules to align with efficiency and demand.
• Proactively manage inventory health by reviewing slow-moving and non-moving stock, optimising safety stock, and reducing excess/obsolescence risks.
• Act as the central owner for a defined product portfolio; develop and execute end-to-end supply strategy across lifecycle.
• Take ownership of portfolio performance to improve on-time shipments, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and global planning teams to mitigate constraints and support new product introductions.

You will be joining a dynamic, 7-person team spread across the UK, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. Together, this collaborative group is responsible for driving logistics and supply chain management excellence across our regional operations.As Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will orchestrate end-to-end inbound planning and logistics from our global suppliers. In this pivotal role, you will proactively optimise inventory levels to meet customer demand while driving continuous improvement across our planning systems.This is a hybrid role designed to offer both collaboration and flexibility. You will spend 3 days per week working alongside your colleagues in our Bourne End office, and enjoy the flexibility of working from home for the remaining 2 days per week.ResponsibilitiesManage incoming supply by tracking, prioritising, and expediting shipments, and negotiating delivery schedules to align with operational efficiency and customer demandProactively manage inventory health by leading regular reviews of slow-moving and non-moving stock, optimising safety stock levels, and developing strategies to minimise excess and obsolescence risksAct as the central owner and subject matter expert for a defined product portfolio. You will be empowered to make decisions that directly impact key business metrics, from improving on-time shipment to optimising inventory and enhancing forecast accuracy.Work closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and other global planning teams to mitigate constraints, resolve discrepancies, support new product introductions, and ensure seamless execution of the supply plan.QualificationsBachelor's degree: Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or equivalent experience5+ years of proven experience in demand planning or supply planning, ideally within a multinational corporationA high degree of ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads effectivelyDemonstrated experience managing external suppliers and/or logistics providersA proactive mindset with a strong ability to identify potential issues, take initiative, and drive continuous process improvementsExcellent analytical skills and a passion for data.
