Job summary

Talent Drive is partnering with a global organisation in defence and technology to recruit a Senior Supply Chain Manager into the UK Intelligence division, based in Farnborough with a hybrid working pattern. You will lead a team of six professionals, own a £200m portfolio, drive strategic sourcing and supplier performance, and play a pivotal role in procurement transformation including Oracle Fusion.

The Opportunity

Talent Drive is partnering with a leading global organisation operating across defence, security and advanced technology to recruit a Senior Supply Chain Manager into its UK Intelligence division.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive Procurement & Supply Chain function, taking ownership of a £200m supply chain portfolio supporting mission-critical programmes across cyber, digital intelligence and advanced technology.

Reporting into the UKI Procurement Business Partner, you will lead a team of six direct reports, driving strategic sourcing, supplier performance, commercial value and supply chain resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor a team of six procurement and supply chain professionals, driving performance and capability development.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies across a complex £200m supply chain portfolio.
• Lead high-value, complex commercial negotiations, tenders and contract management activities.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing business strategy and driving early procurement engagement.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring resilience, sustainability and commercial performance.
• Drive supplier relationship management (SRM), improving supplier performance, innovation and value delivery.
• Support procurement transformation initiatives, including the transition to Oracle Fusion and the development of a mature Source-to-Pay operating model.

About You

The client are looking for an experienced, commercially astute procurement and supply chain leader who thrives in a complex, stakeholder driven environment.

Ideally, you will bring:

• 7+ years' experience across strategic procurement and supply chain management.
• Proven experience leading, developing and managing high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, with demonstrable experience negotiating complex, high-value contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence senior leadership.
• Experience managing supplier risk, contract performance and strategic supplier relationships.
• Exposure to procurement systems and Source-to-Pay transformation.
• MCIPS qualified or working towards completion.

Experience within defence, aerospace, technology, engineering or similarly complex environments would be advantageous.
