Senior Supply Chain Manager, Relay Load Board (RLB), ATS

Amazon’s Senior Supply Chain Managers play a central role in our global business. They keep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from Operational teams fulfilling customer orders to Retail teams and others. You’ll help optimize our supply chains to enhance customer experience and improve business energy and cost efficiency.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Lead the Weekly Business review of RLB throughout the year
  2. Lead RLB Demand planning for High Volume Event and disruption weeks to ensure network capacity
  3. Coordinate with multiple Amazon business units to understand their plans and impacts
  4. Collaborate with Surface Transportation Scheduling and Forecasting teams on critical topics
  5. Identify root causes of failures and implement systematic solutions through appropriate processes
  6. Dive deep into stakeholder contributions and challenges while maintaining a strategic perspective
  7. Provide operational updates on risks and opportunities to RLB Capacity in the network
  8. Work with the Forecasting team to monitor RLB performance
  9. Deep dive into problems and develop short-term and long-term solutions
  10. Develop automations, data pipelines, and dashboards for high-level planning
  11. Share updates with leadership on risks and mitigation strategies
A day in the life

This role involves problem-solving, working with various teams to address challenges impacting our network, and balancing proactive and reactive tasks. You’ll help forecast and plan for new projects, resolving immediate issues and contributing to strategic improvements. No two days are the same—your work could range from defining supply chain models to resource planning during busy periods, offering continuous learning opportunities.

Location and team

This role is based at one of our European headquarters, with potential flexibility for remote work. The team focuses on Relay Load Board (RLB), a critical part of Amazon’s middle mile network, managing disruptions and safeguarding customer experience.

Minimum requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field
  • Experience analyzing data and creating leadership reports
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders and leadership
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel)
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in supply chain planning and project management
  • Degree in STEM or MBA
  • Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning
  • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight)
