Booker Group in Eccles is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to own end-to-end stock flow from suppliers to Distribution Centres and branches. You will lead a team, use data and supplier relationships to minimise inventory, maximise availability and meet service level targets.

You will drive continuous improvement across promotions, seasonal demand and new product launches, build strong supplier partnerships via VMI, and ensure compliant, efficient planning across the network.

Formación

• Extensive experience in FMCG and experience leading a team.
• Ability to work autonomously, solve problems and make sound commercial decisions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, produce reports and maintain records.
• Excellent attention to detail and turning insights into effective supply chain plans.
• Good understanding of markets and industry developments.
• Ability to adapt and manage competing priorities.
• Experience building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to develop people and improve team performance.

Responsabilidades

• Managing stockholding levels to achieve service level targets while minimising excess inventory.
• Ensuring effective intake planning and adherence to correct processes.
• Managing delisted stock and overstocks in line with company targets.
• Building strong relationships with key suppliers through VMI.
• Identifying seasonal demand and sales trends and planning to maximise availability and sales.
• Providing clear insights to Supply Planners to support decision-making.
• Ensuring new product launches are planned to maximise sales and minimise handling.
• Reviewing RTM to optimise costs and service levels.
• Ensuring promotion forecasts are completed on time and reviewed.
• Leading reviews of underperforming suppliers and addressing issues.
• Working with IT to resolve system issues and escalation.
• Leading, coaching and developing the team through reviews and development.
• Managing supplier relationships and supporting category profit and budgets.
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and ethical requirements.
