Job summary

CBRE UK is seeking a supply chain consulting professional to support project scoping, data analysis, and client-facing work from our London base. The role involves collaborating with multiple industries, delivering data-driven recommendations, and helping develop new tools and capabilities.

You will collect and validate data, perform modelling and visualization tasks, and present insights to clients and internal teams. A proactive learner with strong communication skills is essential.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of supply chain consulting experience or related field.
  • Aptitude for mathematics and data-driven problem solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with data manipulation, modelling and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with geospatial/mapping software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support project scoping and develop approaches for client projects.

Job description

What You’ll Do
  • Leverage your existing experience to support project team with scoping project approaches
  • Collecting, validating and using data to deliver informed recommendations and decisions
  • Working across a variety of clients in different industries and sectors
  • Playing a critical role in delivering supply chain and operations related projects as part of a project team
  • Directly engaging with clients to capture client data and understand their business
  • Ability and desire to learn how to apply new tools, techniques and methods in approaching client questions
  • Ability to grasp and drive development of new software, tools and techniques
  • Play a team role in presenting the findings to clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Working closely with clients and internal CBRE functions, to develop strong working relationships, trust and mutual opportunity
  • Contributing to the development of team capability
  • Become a supply chain advocate and champion internally
What you'll need
  • 2-3 years of internal or external supply chain consulting experience, with an aptitude for mathematics
  • Enthusiastic about learning and passionate about your role; self-driven, organised, meticulous with a proactive mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An ability to think creatively and flexibly in approaching questions and reaching conclusions
  • An ability to work independently while under pressure
  • Experience of data manipulation, modelling and visualisation tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI or similar) and database working (Alteryx, SQL or similar)
  • Experience of Geospatial / Mapping software is preferred, such as ArcGIS
  • Experience of AI usage and modelling is advantageous
Location
  • The role is London office-based with opportunity to work flexibly as well as frequent travel throughout UK and, potentially, some international requirements
  • The role should expect client visits, regional offices, London and flexible location working
