As Senior Supplier & Vendor Contract Management Specialist, you drive NTT's growth ambitions by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with third-party suppliers in order to maximise value, quality, efficiency, and leverage capability, which will lead to improved supplier performance at an operational level across EMEA and with touchpoints in the US.

What you will do

  • Build relationships and close collaboration ranging from local site operations to Senior Directors resolving supplier performance issues as point of contact for escalations.
  • Create and further develop processes for vendor management and a KPI Matrix.
  • Schedule frequent meetings with suppliers and stakeholders concerning fulfillment of contract KPIs.
  • Maintain oversight of all Supplier arrangements to ensure efficiency, coordination and consistency and promote rigorous governance throughout supplier relationships.
  • Contribute to further development of the management framework.
  • Address supplier issues collaboratively with procurement and legal teams to resolve concerns.
  • Provide support/advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of supplier and contract management strategy and practice.
  • Work with US & EMEA Procurement to maintain interworking opportunities and best practice application.
  • Roll out the Contract Management Framework in alignment with Procurement, Operations and Central Engineering to EMEA with touchpoints to the US for all applicable contracts/suppliers in order to identify opportunities to improve the level of service or reduce cost, ensuring the DC teams are supported by the SCM function.
  • Identify and deliver additional value into the supply chain.
  • Lead strategic and operational supplier reviews primarily with Critical/High-Risk Suppliers locally, country-wide, US & EMEA wide.

What we are looking for

  • Detailed awareness of the supply chain specific to NTT including the role of suppliers, their importance and impact on NTT.
  • Understanding of the local and country regulatory obligations relating to the supply chain and experience with ensuring this is implemented at an operational level.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or comparable.
  • Several years of experience in technical operations in industries e.g. such as data centers, industrial/pharmaceutical/production plants or power plants.
  • Understanding of Contractual Terms and Conditions.
  • Experience with drafting of Statements of Work.
  • Outstanding commercial, negotiation and planning skills.
  • Strong analytical, numeric and communication skills.
  • Organizational sensitivity working in an international environment.
  • Ability to manage, collaborate and build sustainable working relations with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Solution-oriented and pro-active approach for improvement opportunities.
  • Possess excellent organizational and project management skills and be able to prioritize your own workloads without supervision.
  • Be highly proficient with the use of IT equipment and software systems, including a very good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Business fluency in English is essential, additional languages such as German would be desirable.
