About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Site Supervisor to manage an onsite cleaning team in a busy distribution centre.

Please note you will need your own transport to get to this site

Job Purpose

To supervise a team of multi-service operatives and ensure service delivery standards and specifications are met within budget, thereby delivering "green" audits.

Major Accountabilities
  1. Deliver on-site cleaning and waste operative duties, ensuring schedules and rotas allow all areas to be serviced on time to standards and specifications.
  2. Develop and maintain the relationship with the customer to meet expectations within defined specifications.
  3. Support the Site Manager with audits, carrying out resolution actions within timescales.
  4. Complete and process all necessary paperwork accurately and on time, providing sign-off for completed tasks.
  5. Ensure all cleaning materials and machinery are available, in good working order, and used safely.
  6. Ensure all periodic cleans are completed to the required standards and signed off by the customer.
  7. Complete Decontamination Cleans as requested by the Client.
  8. Support delivery of schedules where appropriate.
  9. Ensure staff have the correct uniform and are dressed appropriately to reflect the TC brand.
  10. Complete shift handover books and confirm attendance of staff.
  11. Conduct return-to-work interviews with team members.
  12. Manage first-stage HR and employee relations issues in accordance with company policies, in consultation with HR.
  13. Support recruitment for multi-service colleagues, ensuring adherence to recruitment standards.
  14. Ensure correct and timely payment of staff, following company procedures.
  15. Train and induct staff in their roles, standards, values, policies, and safety procedures.
  16. Ensure staff adhere to Health and Safety and COSHH policies.
  17. Attend meetings and training as required.
  18. Take responsibility for health, safety, and welfare, reporting incidents and concerns promptly.
  19. Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection laws and company policies on equal opportunities.
