About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Site Supervisor to manage an onsite cleaning team in a busy distribution centre.

Job Purpose
To supervise a team of multi-service operatives and ensure service delivery standards and specifications are met within budget, thereby delivering "green" audits.
Major Accountabilities
- Deliver on-site cleaning and waste operative duties, ensuring schedules and rotas allow all areas to be serviced on time to standards and specifications.
- Develop and maintain the relationship with the customer to meet expectations within defined specifications.
- Support the Site Manager with audits, carrying out resolution actions within timescales.
- Complete and process all necessary paperwork accurately and on time, providing sign-off for completed tasks.
- Ensure all cleaning materials and machinery are available, in good working order, and used safely.
- Ensure all periodic cleans are completed to the required standards and signed off by the customer.
- Complete Decontamination Cleans as requested by the Client.
- Support delivery of schedules where appropriate.
- Ensure staff have the correct uniform and are dressed appropriately to reflect the TC brand.
- Complete shift handover books and confirm attendance of staff.
- Conduct return-to-work interviews with team members.
- Manage first-stage HR and employee relations issues in accordance with company policies, in consultation with HR.
- Support recruitment for multi-service colleagues, ensuring adherence to recruitment standards.
- Ensure correct and timely payment of staff, following company procedures.
- Train and induct staff in their roles, standards, values, policies, and safety procedures.
- Ensure staff adhere to Health and Safety and COSHH policies.
- Attend meetings and training as required.
- Take responsibility for health, safety, and welfare, reporting incidents and concerns promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection laws and company policies on equal opportunities.
Role Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing a team.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH legislation.
- Flexibility with working hours when required.
