Job summary

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a Senior Supervisor for Highways Operations to lead day-to-day highway construction and maintenance activities from Darley Dale Highways Depot. This role ensures the safe, efficient delivery of resurfacing, drainage, safety improvements and winter service operations.

You will supervise teams and manage contractors while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards and supporting programme planning and service resilience.
