TACT Fostering is seeking a Homebased Social Worker to provide trauma-informed support to foster carers and children. The role is 35 hours per week, Mon–Fri, permanent, with a base in the East Midlands and travel across the region. You will supervise carers, undertake Form F assessments, facilitate training and support groups, and record in CHARMS and other systems.

Out of Hours work may be required. Salary is £37,829 per annum, rising to £42,032 after 18 months, plus £1,500 out of hours and

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent.
• Up-to-date registration with Social Work England.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience in a regulated fostering service.
• Enhanced DBS (processed by TACT).

Aufgaben

• Supervise and support a diverse range of foster carers and children.
• Ensure children are safe and well cared for with positive outcomes per TACT policies.
• Undertaking Form F assessments where needed.
• Facilitate regular support groups and training.
• Develop the service and support colleagues.
• Record in CHARMS and other central/social work systems.
• Participate in Out of Hours Service.
