Job summary

Community Care Live is seeking a Senior Supervising Social Worker for a fully home-based role covering Hampshire and Surrey. The position is full-time and permanent with a salary package up to £44,300 per annum and a comprehensive benefits suite.

The role requires fostering and family placements experience, post-qualifying expertise in family placement work, and the ability to work effectively with looked-after children and foster carers.

Qualifications

• Post qualifying experience in family placement work.
• Proven track record with looked after children and foster carers.
• Experience of group work and/or delivery of training.
• Up to date knowledge of Fostering National Minimum Standards and Fostering regulations.
• Ability to prioritise, plan and self-organise efficiently.
• Capable of using electronic records systems and IT, including virtual meetings.

Responsibilities

• Post qualifying experience in family placement work or in other childcare settings.
• Maintain individuality and promote positive development for children.
• Demonstrate experience of group work or training delivery.
• Stay updated on fostering regulations and standards.
• Support looked after children and foster carers.
• Prioritise, plan and self-organise effectively; participate in virtual meetings.

FULLY REMOTE, AND PACKAGE UP TO £44,300 PER ANNUM, AND WITH EXCELLENT BENEFITS INCLUDING 39 DAYS LEAVE AND 12% PENSION.

Your responsibilities:

• Post qualifying experience in family placement work or post qualifying experience in other childcare settings.
• A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children, respecting and maintaining their individuality and promoting their positive development.
• Experience of group work and/or delivery of training.
• Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation including the Fostering National Minimum Standards and Fostering regulations.
• Experience of working with/supporting looked after children and their foster carers.
• Ability to prioritise, plan and self-organise efficiently.
• Capable of using electronic records systems and IT effectively, including participating in virtual meetings and webinars.
