Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a Supervising Social Worker to work from home, covering Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. This fixed-term 12-month contract offers a competitive salary and a car allowance, with no out-of-hours work.

The role involves visiting foster carers, coordinating placements, supporting recruitment efforts, and preparing carers and children for court appearances. A recognised social work qualification and current SWE registration are required, plus a valid UK driving

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with a recognised degree and professional social work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
• Currently registered with Social Work England.
• Full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Make monthly visits to foster carers.
• Collaborate with colleagues on placement arrangements for young people moving on.
• Participate in foster care recruitment and marketing activities.
• Prepare and support carers and children when attending court.

A UK wide large Fostering Agency group are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to work from home covering Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire area. THIS IS A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT.
