We Are With You in Wigan is seeking a Senior Specialist Substance Misuse Nurse to provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and oversee high-quality care for people affected by substance use. The role covers service delivery across Wigan and Leigh with community outreach and collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.

You will manage your own caseload, ensure evidence-based practice in line with the NMC Code, and drive development and improvement of the service while maintaining

Qualificações

• Must be UK Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Demonstrable managerial experience within a relevant healthcare setting.
• Demonstrable experience of working within a substance misuse setting.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Flexible approach to working and able to adapt to the needs of the service.
• Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development since registration.
• Experience of facilitating management and clinical supervision in individual and group settings.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and supervise delivery of high standards of clinical and nursing care to people affected by substance use.
• Provide clinical leadership to nurses and other practitioners within the service.
• Manage a caseload and liaise with other agencies.
• Support health and wellbeing, harm reduction and recovery-focused interventions.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
