Job summary

Forward Trust is seeking a Band 7 Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team within our specialist substance misuse service in a custodial setting.

You will provide clinical leadership across the service, ensuring safe, effective and high‑quality nursing care for patients with substance misuse needs. The role includes managing the prescribing service, supervision, appraisals and staff training with emphasis on NMC revalidation.

Qualifications

• Senior clinical and management experience required.
• Experience in substance misuse care settings desirable.
• Knowledge of prescribing in custodial settings and controlled drugs.

Responsibilities
