Job summary

Kinetic Recruitment, on behalf of a global engineering organisation, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for a 12-month contract in the Bristol area. The role covers tendering and project delivery for Subsea Production Control Systems, with involvement from design to FAT/SIT and final acceptance.

The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop robust technical solutions, manage requirements and risks, and travel internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience with Subsea Production Control Systems.
• Strong systems engineering knowledge: requirements, architecture, integration.
• Experience with risk management and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering input into tender activities for Subsea Production Control Systems.
• Review customer specifications and prepare technical docs and risk registers.
• Work with commercial and engineering teams to develop competitive technical solutions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks during tender and execution phases.
• Develop and maintain system architectures and requirements documentation.
• Produce Functional Design Specifications and design review docs.
• Support verification/validation strategies and change control.
• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
