Job Description

JAB Recruitment is currently looking to source a Senior Subsea Project Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading subsea services provider specialising in offshore energy solutions. This is a contract position, based in Aberdeen (can be outside IR35, LTD Companies are encouraged to apply).

ROLE:

Engineering support with experience of activities within the decommissioning sector. This is to provide engineering services in support of the Shell Brent Charlie AOR project. The engineering services support required shall include but is not limited to the preliminary engineering methodology development, procedure development, offshore execution and project close out reporting.

INPUT REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Deck Layout in PDF and CAD.
  2. GA and P&IDs of the attic oil cells.
  3. 3rd party equipment details.
  4. Suite of all manuals, drawings, data package from 3rd party suppliers.
  5. Access to Client system and EDMS to review documentation.
  6. Access to vessel and equipment for site visits and SITs as required.
  7. Confirmation of Client vessel for execution and access to all vessel information as required.

SCOPE OF WORK:

  1. Attendance to weekly and monthly meetings for the duration of the project.
  2. Develop execution methodologies for this scope of work.
  3. Deck plan for execution of the works.
  4. Mobilisation and demobilisation methodologies.
  5. Offshore execution methodologies.
  6. Provision of high level Gantt charts.
  7. Attendance to HAZID and HAZOPs.
  8. Provision of project equipment list.
  9. Liaison with the vessel and all third party suppliers.
  10. Attendance to SITs.
  11. Offshore support as required.

DELIVERABLES:

  1. Optimised vessel layouts and trip schedule.
  2. Equipment list and equipment review.
  3. Engineered Deck Plans.
  4. Sea fastening Report and Drawings checking.
  5. SIT reports.
  6. Technical support and provision of methodologies and storyboards.
  7. Subcontractor documentation review.
  8. Engineering procedures and documentation as required by the project management team.
