Buckinghamshire New University is seeking a Senior Study Skills Advisor to join the Library and Learning Services in High Wycombe. You will design and deliver inclusive academic skills support, including information literacy, study skills, numeracy and academic English, and contribute to evaluation across the team.

The role involves one-to-one work, workshops, and outreach, with responsibilities to develop accessible materials and ensure alignment with course requirements.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Teaching or supporting learning in higher education or further education.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging academic skills support, including study skills and digital literacy.
• Coordinate evaluation activities to measure reach and impact of the service.
• Support outreach activities promoting Library and Learning Services across the university and external stakeholders.
• Supervise Study Skills Advisors and other team members.
