About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a very supportive school, where your role will involve providing targeted support for multiple students. Unlike traditional 1:1 roles, you will be working with multiple children throughout the day, adapting to and supporting their individual needs to help them succeed both academically and socially.

  3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, leaders, and external professionals.
  4. A calm, patient, and confident approach, with the capability to stand your ground while maintaining compassion and understanding.
  5. Emotional resilience, as this role will require dealing with difficult and sensitive situations on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support and nurture our students with SEMH needs, helping them manage their behaviour and engage positively with their learning environment.
  2. Work with the support of SLT and the Wellbeing Team to implement and adapt individual behaviour plans and strategies.
  3. Provide tailored interventions throughout the school day, promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere.
  4. Under the direction of the Vice Principal for Behaviour, liaise with teachers, SENCO, and external agencies where necessary to ensure each child's needs are fully met.
