Uniper is seeking a Senior Structuring Manager (UK) to drive profitable growth by structuring opportunities for customers in the UK and managing the day-to-day relationship with our UK B2B partners. You will provide commercial guidance to the UK market strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create attractive, value-driven offers.

The role emphasizes structuring products, pricing, and contract terms while leveraging the strength of an international energy company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own and develop day-to-day partnership with UK B2B partners and lead deal opportunities.
• Structure offers for UK customers that balance attractiveness with Uniper value creation.
• Lead internal conversations with Portfolio Management, UK Upstream, Product Development, Credit & Legal.
• Collaborate on pricing methodologies to align risk strategy with Uniper’s goals.
• Share best practices across Pricing & Structuring teams for international markets.
• Drive Product Development and value optimization within Uniper’s contracts post-signature.
• Act as a lead consultant for commercial strategy projects shaping UK downstream strategy.

Uniper has a strategic ambition to be a leading supplier of power and gas to industrial & commercial users, the public sector and smaller energy suppliers in our core markets of the UK, Germany and other countries.

As the Senior Structuring Manager (UK) you are accountable for driving profitable growth by structuring opportunities for customers in the UK, which is a new business for Uniper. This will include owning the day-to-day relationship with our UK B2B partner and to provide commercial expertise and guidance to our future strategy for the UK market.

Your responsibilities

• UK Partnership: Own and develop the day-to-day partnership with our B2B partners, leading and developing all deal opportunities.
• Structuring: Structure offers (product, pricing, terms and conditions) for our customers in the UK, that are both attractive for our customers and value creative for Uniper.
• Bid Teams & Leadership: Lead internal conversations to leverage the competitive advantages of an international energy company, including Portfolio Management, UK Upstream, Product Development, Credit & Legal. Potential future management responsibilities alongside UK expansion.
• Pricing Methodologies: Collaborate with the (Pricing) Method and Modelling Lead to ensure risk strategy is aligned with Uniper’s strategy and are well documented.
• Input to international best practice: Work with other members of the Pricing & Structuring Teams to ensure that best practice is shared across the business, for the benefit of all international markets.
• Product Development & Value Optimisation: Work with other BWS teams to ensure continuous development of Uniper’s product suite and optimisation of contracts post signature.
• Commercial Strategy: Be a lead consultant to commercial strategy projects, playing a pivotal role in designing the downstream UK strategy.
