Job summary

South Wales Trunk Road Agent (SWTRA) is recruiting a Senior Structures Technician to lead the highway structures inspection programme across the South Wales trunk road network. The role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office and a permanent, full-time contract.

Based at The Quays or Coryton, the post includes a Total Reward Package and opportunities for professional development within Neath Port Talbot Council’s team.

• Lead on the planning, delivery and reporting of the highway structures General Inspection programme across the South Wales Trunk Road Network.
• Assist in the delivery of Principal Inspections and structures maintenance schemes, including the routine cyclic programme.

Responsibilities

You will be required to lead on the planning, delivery and reporting of the highway structures General Inspection programme across the South Wales Trunk Road Network. Also to assist in the delivery of Principal Inspections and structures maintenance schemes, including the routine cyclic programme.

We are offering a permanent, full-time role (37 hours per week) based at The Quays, Baglan (Neath Port Talbot) or Coryton (Cardiff) with flexible hybrid working 2 days a week in the office.
