5+ years experience in detailing constructions, ideally with RC.
Strong AutoCAD skills and ability to produce engineering drawings.

Prepare engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD.

Job Title: Senior Structural Technician
Location: Halesowen
Salary: Salary Negotiable - Dependent on individual Skills / Exp

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Structural Technician with strong AutoCAD skills and expertise to join a busy Structural Engineering Department in Birmingham.

As a Structural Technician, you will have excellent AutoCAD abilities and ideally be experienced in the use of CADS RC and Excel. You will understand projects of a buildings nature and be able to work on the production of drawings and details from foundation upwards.

The Role

Preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
Use of AutoCAD, CADS RC, Excel and other computerised design software
Supervising and mentoring less experienced Technicians
Liaison with clients and contractors
Managing the delivery of projects

About You

Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
IT literate
Ideally 5 years+ experience detailing in constructions, with some experience detailing RC.
Ability to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors and other consultants
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
