Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Bristol is seeking a Senior Structural Technician to join their expanding team. The role involves undertaking technical drawing work in Revit for major structural engineering projects, producing reinforcement bending schedules, and communicating effectively with clients and design teams. Candidates should have proficiency in Revit, strong technical drawing skills, and experience in reinforced concrete detailing. Qualifications

• Excellent all-round experience in technical drawing with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of structural build details and construction interfaces is essential.
• Experience in reinforced concrete detailing is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical drawing work in Revit for major structural engineering projects.
• Produce reinforcement bending schedules for reinforced concrete.
• Manage workloads to ensure deadlines and client requirements are met.
• Liaising with Clients, internal and external design teams daily
• Contribute and take an active role in improvement of Company and Drawing Office procedures

Overview of Role

Excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Technician in Bristol. My Client is an award winning, multi-disciplined Engineering Consultancy who have multiple offices throughout the UK. The Bristol Office is entering a very exciting phase of growth and require a Senior Structural Technician to join their Team. With high-end projects awarded the timing couldn't be more perfect! Key requirements for this role is a proficiency in Revit and experience of RC detailing.

• Undertaking technical drawing work in Reviton major structural engineeringprojects (buildings).
• Producing reinforcement bending schedules for reinforced concrete
• Managing workload to ensure deadlines are met and clientrequirements are fulfilled
• Liaising with Clients, internal andexternal design teams on a daily basis
• Contribute and take an active role in the improvement of Company and Drawing Office procedures

About You

• Good all-round technical drawing expertise using Revit and AutoCAD for all building materials
• Exceptional knowledge o structural build details and construction interfaces
• Experience in the detailing of structures particularlyin reinforced concrete
• Effective communication skills
