Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee primary structural steel installation and erection across the UK. You will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality and programme adherence while coordinating steel erection teams and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have proven site management experience in structural steel, strong leadership and a solid grasp of drawings, specs and technical information.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Site Manager in construction or structural steel.
• Strong experience in primary structural steelwork installation and erection.
• SMSTS and CSCS (or equivalent) as project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise structural steel installation and erection activities.
• Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinate steel erection teams, subcontractors, plant, materials and deliveries.
• Monitor project progress against programme and resolve issues.
• Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, clients and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation and procedures.
• Lead site meetings, toolbox talks and site inspections.
• Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
• Identify and address potential site issues to protect programme, safety and quality.
