Job summary

Caunton Engineering Limited in Nottingham is seeking a Structural Steel Project Coordinator to manage modelling and drawing workflows through project completion. You will join the Drawing Office and liaise with design teams, clients and subcontractors while mentoring apprentice detailers.

Qualifications

• Experience with structural steelwork projects.
• Ability to produce fully detailed Tekla models (GA’s, fabrication drawings, data).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Understanding of Tekla, StruMIS and BIM processes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks (in-house training available).
• Knowledge of CDEs such as ACC/4P/Procore.

Responsibilities

• Manage modelling/drawing process through to project end.
• Attend design team meetings and coordinate information.
• Assist in training apprentice detailers.
• Coordinate information with clients, engineers, architects and subcontractors.
• Report to Drawing Office Manager / Technical Director.
