Job summary

JC Portable Site Accommodation Ltd. in Chichester, United Kingdom, is hiring an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator / MIG-MAG Welder. You will fabricate, weld and assemble steel components for modular buildings in the yard and assist with on-site installations across the UK.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, working with fabrication equipment, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities, providing a stable full-time position.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in fabrication/welding or equivalent.
• Experience fabricating and welding structural steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel components from drawings.
• MIG/MAG welding of mild steel sections to spec.
• Assemble steel frames for modular buildings.
• Operate fabrication tools: saws, drills, grinders, hand tools.
• Assist on-site installation of steel-framed modules.
• Maintain quality, safety and workshop housekeeping.
