Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is representing a well-established structural engineering consultancy in Leicester, seeking a Senior Structural Revit Technician to join a dynamic, collaborative team delivering residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects across the UK.

You will produce high-quality structural drawings and BIM models, coordinate with engineers and architects, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Structural Revit Technician in a consultancy.
• Strong proficiency in Revit Structure and BIM workflows.
• Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and detailing.
• Experience producing drawings for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural drawings and BIM models.
• Coordinate BIM information with internal and external project teams.
• Prepare GA drawings, RC detailing, and steelwork drawings.
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of BIM standards.
• Supporting and mentoring junior technicians where required.
• Attending project and coordination meetings.
