Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Structural Revit Technician for a Northamptonshire-based office.

You will work on refurbishments and new build projects across public and private sectors, using Revit, AutoCAD and Tekla to produce detailed structural drawings. The successful candidate will hold an HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering with 2+ years UK consultancy experience, strong BIM/CDE knowledge, and excellent communication to coordinate with engineers and design

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering with UK consultancy experience.
• 2+ years' experience in a UK-based consultancy in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Tekla.
• Knowledge of BIM and a Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed structural drawings in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
• Use AutoCAD and Revit software for modelling and drawings.
• Work closely with engineers to develop structural designs.
• Liaise with staff and the design team to coordinate models.
• Support project planning and resource management.
• Produce and manage fully co-ordinated BIM models in a CDE.

Senior Structural Revit Technician

Location:Northamptonshire

Salary up to £45,000

This position is required for my client who are a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy for their office based in Northamptonshire . The Structural Revit Technician will be working on a variety of projects including refurbishments and new build for the public and private sector on projects up to £30 Million. This position for a Structural Technician has arisen due to the expanding workload with in the consultancy. The Structural Revit Technician will have a HNC / HND in Civil or Structural Engineering with at least 2 years' experience working within a UK based Consultancy within a similar role. It is envisaged that the Structural Revit Technician will be proficient in Revit, Tekla and AutoCAD. It would be advantageous to have knowledge of BIM and with experience of working in a Common Data Environment (CDE)The Structural Revit Technician will have experience in a range of sectors Automotive, Commercial, Education, Industrial, Residential and Retail sectors.
