Job summary

AECOM in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (NSQEP) to contribute to defence, research and nuclear projects. You will deliver the design and analysis of seismic structures and safety-critical facilities, ensuring robust, compliant solutions.

Working with multidisciplinary teams, you will prepare calculations and reports, support nuclear safety cases and regulatory submissions, and help drive continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with NSQEP experience.
• 6+ years in structural engineering, ideally with complex buildings and seismic work.
• Experience in defence, research, nuclear or regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural and seismic design for complex buildings and safety-critical facilities in defence, research and nuclear sectors.
• Undertake advanced structural analysis including seismic assessment and dynamic analysis.
• Prepare calculations, reports and design documentation per project requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Support development of nuclear safety cases, regulatory submissions and technical justifications.
• Ensure compliance with Australian and international design standards.
