Job summary

Pertemps Network Group is recruiting an Associate/Principal Structural Engineer in Leeds to lead the delivery of major building structures, manage client relationships and mentor teams across disciplines.

You will guide projects from concept through construction, coordinating with infrastructure and geo-environmental colleagues while driving performance and development within a growing, employee-owned consultancy.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with IStructE or ICE, or near qualification.
• Proven track record delivering major building structures through the construction lifecycle.
• Advanced design capabilities across steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring engineers.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural delivery of building projects from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with internal infrastructure and geotechnical teams.
• Manage project programmes, resources and commercial performance.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Oversee graduates, engineers and technicians on projects.
• Support fee proposals and wider business development.
