Job summary

TED Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our Cambridge client, an award-winning consulting engineering firm.

You will mentor junior engineers, work on diverse projects including commercial offices, schools, industrial buildings and historic structures, and ensure compliance with UK codes. Ideal candidates hold a BSc (and MSc preferred) in Civil/Structural Engineering, are near or already Chartered (IStructE or MICE), and bring hands-on use of Tekla, TEDDS, AutoCAD, Revit

Qualifications

• At least 3 years post-graduation experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Experience at a firm of consulting engineers.
• Knowledge of UK codes and regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with clients and contractors.
• Mentoring junior engineers and technicians is beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior engineers and technicians on project teams.
• Contribute to a variety of projects across sectors such as offices, education, industrial and historic buildings.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure design quality and compliance.
