Fusion, a Bristol-based structural engineering consultancy, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its team and lead projects up to £2m. The role blends hands-on design with project leadership, client coordination, site activity and surveys.

You will manage calculations and drawings, liaise with architects and contractors, attend meetings and deliver surveys while contributing to business development and client relationships.

Qualifications

• At least three years of post-graduate structural engineering experience.
• Experience designing building structures, including masonry, timber and steel.
• Ability to produce clear structural calculations, drawings and hand-drawn sketches.
• Experience coordinating directly with clients and other project stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job DescriptionSenior Structural Engineer JOB REFERENCE FUS-0116 LOCATION Bristol SALARY £40,000 to £55,000 EMPLOYMENT Permanent HOURS Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

THE CLIENT FUSION is partnering with a Bristol-based structural engineering consultancy to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer. The consultancy delivers domestic and commercial building projects, including schemes with contract values of up to £2m. The role sits within the structural engineering team and combines hands-on design with project leadership, client coordination, site work and structural surveys.

THE ROLE

You will take responsibility for structural calculations and drawings while leading projects from design coordination through site activity. The work includes regular liaison with architects, clients and contractors, alongside attendance at design meetings and site visits. The position also includes structural survey work and a contribution to business development, giving the appointed engineer a broad role across technical delivery and client relationships.
