Job summary

Walker Dendle Technical is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the head office of its multi-sited operation. You will lead design and project delivery on a mix of new-build and refurbishment schemes, with project values up to £200 million.

Ideal candidates are Chartered (or near) graduate members of IStructE and/or ICE, with a UK BEng/BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (2:1) and solid design/management experience within UK consultancy. Hybrid WFH is supported.

Qualifications

• Chartered or near-chartered graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE.
• BEng/BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (2:1 minimum) from a UK university.
• Strong design and project-running experience in UK consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural design and analysis for both new-build and refurbishment schemes.
• Lead projects ensuring delivery within programme and budget.
• Interact with clients and multidisciplinary teams in a UK consultancy context.

Job description

Mainstream West Essex consultancy requires a Senior Structural Engineer to join the head office of a multi-sited operation.

Candidates will need to be a Chartered (or near) Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE, have a BEng/BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (2:1 minimum) from a UK university and have good design and project-running skills gained in UK consultancy.

Current workload is a mixture of both new-build and refurbishment developments with project values up to £200million with a current bias towards Developer-led residential phased developments.
