Job summary

Walker Dendle Technical has a Western Essex–based opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join the head office of a multi-sited operation. Candidates should be Chartered or near Chartered with IStructE/ICE, hold a UK BEng/BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (2:1 min), and bring strong design and project-running skills gained in UK consultancy.

The workload includes both new-build and refurbishment with schemes up to £200 million and a trend toward developer-led residential phased

Qualifications

• Chartered or near Chartered member of IStructE and/or ICE.
• BEng/BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (2:1 minimum) from a UK university.
• Strong design and project-running skills gained in UK consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and project management on mixed new-build and refurbishment schemes up to £200m.
• Collaborate within a multi-sited head office and with developers and stakeholders.

Job description

Mainstream West Essex consultancy requires a Senior Structural Engineer to join the head office of a multi-sited operation.

Candidates will need to be a Chartered (or near) Graduate member of IStructE and/or ICE, have a BEng/BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (2:1 minimum) from a UK university and have good design and project-running skills gained in UK consultancy.

Current workload is a mixture of both new-build and refurbishment developments with project values up to £200million with a current bias towards Developer-led residential phased developments.
