Job summary
EirEng Consulting Engineers in Bath is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 6+ years of consultancy experience and Chartered status (IStructE or ICE). Based in Bath, you’ll manage multiple projects across logistics, residential, retail, and commercial sectors and contribute to the growth of our Bath and Dublin offices.
You will mentor junior engineers, review designs, and lead technical deliveries in steel, concrete and timber, using 3D modelling software.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years’ consultancy experience in structural engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status with IStructE or ICE.
- Based in Bath with willingness to travel to Dublin as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects with focus on technical delivery and quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and review designs.
- Develop structural designs in steel, concrete and timber.
- Use 3D modelling to analyse and design structures.
- Prepare reports, specifications, sketches for design principles.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams and clients.
- Carry out site visits and surveys.
