Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Confident communicator capable of explaining engineering concepts clearly and simply.
• Commitment to continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Strong interest in architecture and how structural design relates to architecture.
• Passion for sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through design.
• Experience mentoring younger engineers.
• Near chartered or chartered member of IStructE/ICE (or equivalent).
• Ability to design and deliver structural solutions on complex projects.
• Excellent project management; able to manage time, resources, costs and communication.

Responsibilities

• Produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects across diverse sectors.
• Collaborate within a supportive, multidisciplinary team to deliver projects on time.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge with the team.
