Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Cambridge team. You will lead and deliver diverse structural projects from concept through to completion, collaborating with architects and multidisciplinary teams.

The role offers hybrid working, exposure to education, healthcare, commercial and residential schemes, and clear progression within a growing consultancy. Chartered or working towards Chartership is preferred, with UK-specific regulations in focus.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer or actively working towards Chartership.
• Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
• Strong experience delivering building structures projects.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Leading structural design projects across a variety of sectors.
• Taking projects from concept design through construction and final delivery.
• Producing calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Undertaking site inspections and structural surveys.
• Working closely with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships.
