Job summary

Waterman Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Birmingham Structures team. You will contribute to delivering diverse schemes across healthcare, residential, commercial, and education sectors from a vibrant Birmingham office near Snow Hill.

You will participate in calculations, drawings reviews, tender document preparation, and meetings with design teams, with clear routes to chartership and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Experience in delivering schemes across sectors.
• Ability to produce calculations and specifications.

As well working on large complex projects in the healthcare, residential or commercial sectors.We have excellent routes to chartership and can provide a varied 360 workload to experience all that structural engineering has to offer.

• Although we’re happy to consider applicants with more or less experience, you’ll ideally have qualifications, experience or skills in the following areas:
• You’ve got a relevant civil or structural engineering degree
• Production of calculations and specifications.
• Technical reviews of drawings and junior member’s designs.
• Preparation of tender and contract documents.
• Attendance at coordination, design team and site meetings.
• Finite Element Analysis
