Job position: Senior / Associate Structural Engineer (chartered or nearing chartership)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading complex structural design projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our engineering firm.

What Youll Be Doing

• Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion
• Develop and review structural designs for various types of buildings and structures
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and drawings
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
• Participate in client meetings and presentations
• Contribute to business development efforts
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., TSD, SCIA, ROBOT)
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards (Euro Codes, British Standards)
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
