Senior Structural Engineer

£50,000 - £70,000 + Route to chartership + Hybrid Working

Barnstaple

you will be responsible for designing, assessing, and overseeing the structural elements of residential building projects. Your role will involve working closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure all structures are safe, compliant, and cost-effective. You'll provide technical expertise across all stages of construction-from initial concept and calculations through to site inspections and final approval.

THE ROLE

• Work with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry materials to create efficient and safe structures.




• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver well-coordinated, high-quality solutions




• Attend site inspections and meetings to review progress and maintain technical standards throughout construction.

THE PERSON

• Structural Engineer or similar




• Accredited honours degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering and a charterer member of MIStructE (or be working towards it)
