Qualifications

• 7+ years of offshore structural engineering experience.
• Experience with offshore design codes and standards.
• Proficient in FEA tools such as ANSYS and Strand7.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and produce technical reports.
• Willing to travel offshore as required.

Due to a number of recent international project awards, we are looking for a hardworking and capable Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in either Aberdeen or Glasgow.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Lead Engineer, helping to mentor and support the younger members of the team, as well as taking ownership of projects from concept through to execution.

Key Experience

Offshore structural and mechanical design

Structural vessel and equipment experience

Fabrication support and offshore exposure

Competent in structural assessment and design verification

Experience with FEA tools including Ansys and Strand7

Familiarity with offshore design codes and standards

Capability Profile

7+ years' experience

Strong communication and technical reporting skills

Experience mentoring junior engineers

Working knowledge of DNV and AISC design codes

Offshore certified and willing to travel
