Petrofac is seeking a Senior Structural Designer - Contractor

for 6 months based in Aberdeen, UK.

The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.

Job Title: Senior Structural Designer - Contractor (6-Month Contract)

Scope of Services:

• Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new infrastructure and modifications to existing infrastructure for the energy sector.
• Provide technical information to support estimates for project work scopes.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve technical queries, ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process.
• Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets.
• Produce structural design drawings / 3D models, etc.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS.
• Provide checking of structural drawings.
• Interface with other disciplines, clients, and third parties on technical project issues.
• Ensure compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international, and client codes and standards.
• Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate.

• Structural general arrangement drawings.
• Structural detail drawings.
• Structural destruct drawings.
• Installation methodology drawings / documents.
• Rigging drawings.
• Survey reports.
• Construction workpack input.
• Weight control reports.
• Presentations, sketches, etc., to assist in scope communications.
